Nike, is it a coincidence that I’m reading this emotional piece from you on my dad’s 16th year death anniversary? All I feel like doing today is sharing testimony of God’s faithfulness over the years. Yes, He has been and is still faithful! I hope you get inspiration from my testimony that I will share on facebook soon. I don’t have many words to say to you now but just to take solace in God’s faithfulness. He will definitely see you through. About depression, please don’t allow it to set in. Share your fears and griefs with family and friends who care, Cry if you want to and shout when you feel like. Let it out. I remember I used to cry practically everyday when I just gained admission into LAUTECH, and my mood swings ehn…thank God for understanding friends. 16 years ago, I felt lost and hopeless, but today I want to share a testimony! Above all, may the Holy Spirit, the great comforter give you the fortitude to sail through strongly. It is well, dear.

Each time I read posts in this vein I am torn between hugging you and reading the post because you write so well. You manage to capture your grief with your pen and I empathize.
I don’t know what to say though to comfort you. Only Holy Spirit can comfort you. I pray you find a measure of peace and that the sharp pain and grief ebbs to the dull ache time brings and which you can manage a bit.
Pele love. The Lord is your strength.
