Beyond What You Can See……Moyosore Teniola

Ladies, be it single or married should please read this piece.

.

Sister Y says:
Oh! How I wish I marry someone like Sister X’s husband, so wealthy and comfortable! She has a good job too, wears latest clothes, their children attend the best and most expensive schools in town. What a marriage! Such an heaven on earth! How I wish my own marriage too is like this. My salary and that of my husband put together cannot even be up to the school fees of only one of Sister X’s children!

.

Hello Sis. Y, I have a message for you. Do you know there might have been some periods in that marriage that Sister X and her hubby were struggling financially, soaking Garri 24/7? Do you know there might have been times when sister X and her hubby would go to bed on empty stomachs? Have you ever thought about that? It is because you knew her just now that she is living a good life, you think it’s been easy all along.

.

Are you married to the man of your dreams, the man you love and adore so much but things have not been so buoyant for you in that marriage and you find yourself comparing your marriage with that of your friend or neighbour? Wait! What gives you the impression that all had been rosy all along in that marriage? Maybe they have also gone through their own trying times of financial hardships too at a certain point you never knew.

.

Before you desire that husband or that marriage, ask yourself, can you pay the price the woman in that home paid? Can you make some hard sacrifices? Many things happen in marriages that is beyond what the eyes can see…

.

Instead of wishing for a husband or a marriage like your friend’s, sister’s or neighbour’s, why not pray that God help yours too. And if you are still single, stay with the man God eventually gives to you later and work things out with him.
Once you both love each other, and God is involved, that is all you need for the marriage to work.

.

So my Lady, when you see me tomorrow and I am glowing with all glory and splendor, before you covet my marriage, ask me what I have been through and the number of hours I did spend in a week praying for my husband that God should ‘pick his call’… not because I do not need to ‘hammer’ too but when my husband ‘hammers’, then we both have ‘hammered’ together! For my husband is my head.

.

Do not covet other women’s relationships or marriages, work yours out and It shall be well.
I hope I have given you a message?

.

Have a glorious week. May God bless our hustles.
