I still went to HP service agent to get the laptop keyboard changed. It was omo yibo that I met again. He changed the keyboard but nobody mentioned windows again. Of course, we haven’t finished repair and MY PHONE IS NOW DYING ON ME TOO. This is the final straw. Posting this is/was a struggle. That’s why there are no pictures. I can’t attach.
I ordered “stay with me” from Amab Bookstores, Minna and it was delivered. Been curious to read that book for awhile. Went in search of it in Ibadan but I never reached booksellers, Jericho because I branched at ile alamala that Kayode my friend had been telling me about. I fell sleepy and headed back home. That was in march.
I devoured the book in two days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just like “On the bank of the river”, I’ve forgotten the name of the author now but she’s an OAP, the book talked about the political system of the early 90s. The freest and fairest election ever conducted in Nigeria and all that. Let’s just say I have an idea of why the book probably broke all indices to win every award imaginable including being translated into many languages.
But that is not why I am here today. I am just coming from social media. From the gram actually.
While I got ecstatic and blown away with the trending #àséwéréniséólúwà# wondering why a hashtag could be so perfect for the moment and imagining the bliss of getting hooked to a chef(especially when you are very lazy in that dept), I was seriously irked with the wizkid baby mama drama going on.
Why would a baby mama become so low in self esteem that she’d be crying yen yen yen on the gram because of a baby daddy that doesn’t deserve the attention? In this Nigeria? Na today? Have you ever heard of a baby daddy being responsible? Don’t all baby daddies all reason the same? Don’t we all live in Nigeria and don’t we all know that Nigerian baby daddies are gods of thunder and brimstone? Don’t we all know they don’t own their shit and when push comes to shove, they walk free and the blame still goes back to the mama.
But a sensible woman would know that even though they walk free, they are not free. Not in heaven or hell. Nobody dumps shit somewhere and walk away without clearing the mess. That shit becomes smelly, decomposes and the smell comes back to you. Which is why crying wolf on SM is a childish way to fight. That’s fighting dirty, not fighting smart. Next time, fight with common sense because the Nigerian media won’t help you.
Imagine, why would a baby mama be thinking of a shitty baby papa when she can be loved up and let her own story become another #werelobamise#. Meanwhile, one baby mama put to bed and ordered a Bentley.
Hasn’t she heard of loss of memory? Can’t she lose her memory about who her baby daddy is? She is trolling him and seeing the amount of money he makes daily while nothing gets to her/child. It’s all a mirage. A fluke. A time bomb. The money won’t matter later. In fact, the fame won’t. There would only be regrets. But the hands of time would never go back.
