Yes, last weekend was good at upscale gwarimpa(where the light does not blink). And the weekend was spiced up with the feat of the super eagles in Calabar as Nsofor and Moses scored a goal each during the world cup qualifying match. And of course I enjoyed the night life at Charly Boy Area ………(Just the night view, lol). So it is time to avoid Mr Gimba- the Editor(I hope he doesn’t call) and set sail again… This time to go and eat Obalende suya gangan at the joint in lasgidi…I am actually homesick. I miss my house at Km 7(hehehe). I miss my kidbrother and his troubles. I miss the goats in our animal farm. I miss everything about the ancient city. The only interesting thing for me in this city is the suya and beef crackers(kilichi) I get to eat. Outside this, nothing else matters. Been long I ate the suya anyway, usually garnished with pepper, onions and cabbage.
Now I’m excited because Obalende suya even tastes better with cold malt or ice cream. Yeah, I ate Egbeda suya too(whatever that is), usually arranged for me by fikky and kay every tuesday night on their way from work. Now, I’ve outgrown Egbeda suya and puff puff. #nextlevelthinz# obalende suya, here I come.. Oh yeah, I won’t forget to buy kilichi(beef crackers) too from here.
So, for those of my friends and well wishers who have been calling to know how far with Nda and his dog, I can proudly tell you that myself, Nda,doggie and every other dogs in this area are all doing well together. #nolongthing# thanks for caring…
So there is a story I’m itching to write here.. It’s a love story. If you are fond of bullying or being mean to nice dudes around you, well, you could be sitting on a keg of gunpowder because he could as well end up as ‘dear future husband’. So, stop looking for him in all the wrong places. You met him already but bullied him(hehehehe). It is a story you wouldn’t want to miss.. But I won’t write it until at least 20people holla me on this page to write about it. But am quite sure the story won’t see the light of the day cos 20people won’t talk to me here. Facebook inboxes or comments don’t count except you come here(#tongueout#) So until then, keep your fingers crossed as I begin to give you tales of obalende suya from lasgidi and news from the ancient city… #runningaway#
